ACCOMMODATION

The approximately 30 cottages were built according to the Vedic harmony, in which the interactions of structure, proportions, arrangement and material are intended to provide people with positive energy and trigger inner peace and contentment. Roughly comparable to the teaching of feng shui.
 No two villas are alike. Since the astrological Malayalam system comprises 27 zodiac signs, according to the characteristics of which the individual houses were built. Upon request, each guest can request accommodation corresponding to their personal zodiac sign.

You can rent single villas or double villas with two separate living units.
 The bookable categories DELUXE VILLA (19), ROYAL VILLA (9) and MAHARAJA VILLA (2) only differ in comfort and size.
 The Deluxe and Royal Villa are between 20 – 42 square meters, the Maharaja Villa has a size of about 55 square meters.

THERAPY CENTER

In the Kairali Ayurveda center, traditional South Indian architecture combines with high comfort. The approximately 12 treatment rooms are large and bright and separate for men and women, as are the changing rooms and shower cubicles.
 The medical management is the responsibility of three highly qualified and experienced Ayurveda doctors, who are assisted by a well-established team of well-trained therapists. A total of 25 therapists are responsible for your teratments. As is the case with authentic and professional Ayurveda, men are treated by men and women by women.

In recognition of thier services to authentic Ayurveda, the Kairali Ayurveda Center was among others certified with the Green Leaf Award of the Kerala government.

Upon request, a German-speaking translator can be requested upon booking, who will then be present at the doctor’s consultations.

AYURVEDA TREATMENTS

The knowledge about the healing power of certain herbal mixtures and their applications has been passed on for generations within the Ramesh family. Most of the Ayurvedic remedies come from our own herb garden and our own production.

After a thorough initial medical examination on the day of arrival, the spa treatments are individually coordinated and the nutritional plan established. The authentic Ayurveda treatments are carried out twice daily in the morning and in the afternoon.

RESTAURANT

The restaurant serves tasty Ayurvedic, purely vegetarian dishes. A qualified nutritionist helps the spa guests to put together the dishes. Almost all of the fresh ingredients for the meals come from our own organic cultivation, as do the ingredients for the oils, herbs, medicines, cosmetics and cleaning products used.
Alcohol and nicotine consumption are not welcome on the premises.

ENTERTAINMENT & EXCURSIONS

In the season, the Kairali regularly organizes cultural programs with traditional dance and music performances in the evenings. An Indian astrologer and palmist can also be contacted for a fee if interested.
 Excursions to nearby temples, typical Kerala villages and artisans are also organized to get to know Kerala’s country, people and customs.
 The Parambikulam National Park, the nearby Malampuzha Reservoir, and the Rock Garden, with various stone ornaments and sculptures, are also popular excursion destinations. You can hike in the mountains of the Western Ghats or visit the fort in Palakkad or go shopping. Cities further away would be Coimbatore, Thrissur, Guruvayoor and Cochin.

LOCATION

Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village is located in the northern part of Kerala, in a vast high valley between the first and second ridges of the Western Ghats, in the middle of a fertile plain. 

The international airport of Cochin is approx. 125 km away, approx. 2.5 hours by car. Other possible airports for reaching Kairali would be Coimbatore (75km, approx. 1.5 hours transfer) and Calicut (Kozhikode) (approx. 2.5 hours transfer).
 The city of Palakkad is only a few kilometers away.
