These standard deluxe rooms face towards the cliffs and are only a little cheaper due to the lack of sea views.
Very spacious and equipped with beautiful woodwork, this category also has a bathroom with a bathtub where you can relax with your Ayurveda herbal bath, as well as a private balcony.

Sea View Palace Deluxe Room (approx. 46m²)

The standard deluxe rooms with sea views offer you a breathtaking view of the sea and the beach from your private balcony.
 Just like in the Hill-View rooms, you will find a spacious bedroom with a separate bath with shower and an extra tub for herbal baths.


Yuvaraja Royal Junior Suite (approx. 56m²)

The junior suites with sea view and private balcony offer a spacious bedroom with an extra living area.
Here too, as in all AyurSoma rooms, you can enjoy your private Ayurveda bath in your own bathtub.


Maharaja Royal Suite (approx. 72m²)

The furnishings of the Maharaja Royal Suites are identical to those of the Junior Suites.
However, they differ in size because they have a separate living room in addition to the large bedroom, the bathroom with tub and the balcony.

Dhanwanthari Heritage Deluxe Room (approx. 84m²)

In these luxury rooms you can enjoy even more amenities and privacy, because here there is also a separate living area in addition to the large bedroom.
The highlight, however, is your own private Ayurveda treatment room with steam bath.

THERAPY CENTER

The AyurSoma, as part of the Somatheeram Group – the pioneers in the field of Ayurveda – presents above-average Ayurveda and convinces with very experienced doctors and therapists.
In AyurSoma you will be taken care by a team 12 very experienced Ayurveda doctors who are supported by a team of around 60 therapists, most of whom come from families with a long Ayurveda tradition.
The therapy center has 20 treatment rooms on its own floor. Five other private treatment rooms are connected to the suites of the guests.
Ayurvedic oils and medicines are made from over 600 medicinal plants using traditional recipes. The required plants are partly grown in Ayurssomas own Ayurvedic herb garden and processed with the greatest care in inhouse factory. If you are interested, you can also arrange a visit by appointment.

AYURVEDA TREATMENTS

At the beginning of your Ayurveda cure there will be a detailed initial consultation.
On request, a multilingual translator will be happy to assist you. (only for german, spanish, french)
You are examined by experienced doctors using traditional and scientific diagnostics based on the three doshas of the human body, vata, pitta and kapha. You will then receive a therapy plan tailored to your needs, accompanied by a Dosha-specific diet. The diet is an important aspect in Ayurveda treatment. Special and individual Ayurveda menus are put together by the teams of doctors and dieticians on the basis of the diagnoses.

In AyurSoma you receive exclusive Ayurveda treatments at the highest level to bring body, mind and soul back into balance.

The Ayurveda doctor will decide which program to choose after the initial examination. The order of the treatments can vary depending on the doctor’s instructions and the program and may change during the course of the course depending on the individuals physical condition.

 Since the AyurSoma has strict hygiene regulations, there is disposable underwear for the spa guests and slippers for the treatments.
 You will also receive fresh cotton kimonos every day after the treatments.

YOGA & MEDITATION

Yoga – the art of harmonizing body and mind & Soul will complement your Ayurveda cure in AyurSoma. In two yoga halls and on an open yoga platform with a sea view, you will gain valuable and relaxing experiences during daily yoga and meditation sessions.
The Buddha meditation point with a breathtaking 360 ° panoramic view of the Arabian Sea can also be used for smaller groups to conduct yoga and meditation classes.

RESTAURANT

At AyurSoma you can choose between two restaurants (air-conditioned and not air-conditioned) with a direct sea view. Look forward to an extensive menu with Ayurvedic vegetarian, regional Indian specialties and international dishes. Guests taking in Ayurveda programs can choose from a variety of Ayurveda dishes that change every day and are tailored to the different doshas Vatha, Pitha and Kapha.

LEISURE & SPORTS

The AyurSoma is located in a beautiful landscape and the infinity pool offers a breathtaking view, especially at sunset. Parasols and loungers are available at the pool and on the beach. Drinks and refreshments are served by the pool by the restaurant (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

 The in-house fitness center has modern equipment with service times from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ENTERTAINMENT & EXCURSIONS

Many attractions in Kerala, such as Trivandrum, the Backwaters, the Neyyar Dam and the Wildlife Sanctuary, the Padmanabhapuram Palace etc. are waiting for you in the surrounding area. Excursions to historic sites and houseboat tours in the backwaters can be organized on request. (Guests who participate in an Ayurveda program, please only plan these excursions in consultation with your doctor.)

There are regular lectures and seminars on Ayurveda topics. Guest lecturers include important professors from various Ayurveda universities.
 The evening cooking demonstrations are always very popular with Ayurveda guests. Here you can get to know the old knowledge of Ayurveda diets, Indian spices, as well as some recipes and take valuable knowledge home with you.

 The resort also offers a cultural program every evening during dinner with traditional music and / or dance performances.
 Excursions for bird watching, fishing, hiking, shopping, etc. can be booked at the reception.

LOCATION

The AyurSoma Resort is beautifully nestled between lush greenery and coconut trees and the glittering Chowara beach on the wonderfully calm Arabian Sea. The sister facility Somatheeram Beach Resort is located on the nearby hill and can be reached via an elevator.
 Distance to Trivandrum International Airport: 21 km (approx. 30 minutes driving time); Trivandrum city center is also around 21 km away. The lively seaside resort of Kovalam is about 9 km south.
