Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling viewing windows, the 106 rooms in the Atmantan are not only luxurious and modern, but also very bright and friendly. Of course, blackout curtains are available so that you can find absolute peace even during the day. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable king or twin size beds and retractable loungers. In the marble bathroom with shower, you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape from the bathtub with glass walls. All rooms have access to spacious balconies or terraces.

The multidimensionality and the holistic approach of the resort are reflected in the spa programs. The team of therapists and doctors from different departments enables the resort to offer a wide range of different wellness programs. All packages are personalized and are tailored by the wellness doctors to the specific needs and goals of the guest. In the 23 treatment rooms of the spa area, traditional Ayurveda, Western massages, oriental acupressure, aroma therapy treatments, holistic anti-aging facial treatments, Chi-Nei-Tsang treatment, detoxifying body treatments, cocoon wraps and pranic chakra – Scanning and cleaning applied. In addition, special treatments such as the hammam, Vichy showers, open colon hydrotherapy and beneficial balneotherapy are also possible.

The spa at Atmantan has dedicated itself to healing. Therefore, all products used by the therapists are free from chemical preservatives and synthetic substances, but are completely natural based on aromatherapy and pure plant and herbal extracts. Changing rooms are available in the spa center.

Bathrobes and slippers are also available for all guests in the rooms.

AYURVEDA TREATMENTS

The classic Panchakarma cure is carried out under the instruction of a qualified Ayurveda doctor and experienced therapists from Kerala. In total, 2 Ayurveda doctors and 12 Ayurveda therapists take care of your well-being in the ATMANTAN. At your first consultation, your personality type and dosha will be determined on the basis of the “Nadi” pulse diagnostics, after which a personalized, daily treatment plan will be worked out for you. The therapies include the various applications from Shirodhara, Kativasti, Ja-nuvasti and Choorna Swedana. The progress of your cure is monitored daily and the therapies as well as yoga, herbal and steam baths are individually adapted if necessary.

Due to the multi-dimensional orientation of the resort, the cure can can be supplemented with approaches from Chinese medicine, naturopathy and fitness in order to define and achieve the desired health goals. It has proven itself in pain therapy, for example, and is a unique selling point of the ATMANTAN resort. Yoga and meditation (morning and evening) round off your spa stay and ensure balance and relaxation. Of course, Ayurveda guests have free and unlimited access to the water therapy facilities (steam bath, infrared sauna, heated indoor pool).

A nutritional plan tailored to you also supports your treatment. Only organic food is used and almost 70% of the products processed for meals come from Atmantans own organic farm. All Ayurvedic oils are freshly prepared according to traditional recipes and methods. Many herbs and medicinal plants are grown directly in the resort.

YOGA & MEDITATION

In the yoga studio or in the dreamlike setting of the meditation pavilion “Dhyana” or the amphitheater “Prana”, you can take part in group yoga lessons both in the morning and in the evening. Different excersises such as Kriya’s-cleaning exercises, Hatha Yoga, Astanga Yoga, Vinayasa Yoga, Pranayama Yoga but also the final meditation in the evening round off your Ayurveda cure. Depending on your ability and previous knowledge, the lessons are suitable for beginners and advanced learners.

The focus is on the fresh ingredients from organic cultivation as well as seasonal products that are integrated within the special menus of International Spa Cuisine, Detox & Ayurveda. Guests experience and learn healthy eating habits that help to maintain vitality even after returning home. The main restaurant VISTARA, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers creative wellness cuisine. For each guest, the dishes are prepared according to the doctor’s recommendation and on the individually coordinated nutritional plan.

The VISTARA offers a breathtaking view of the lake and indoor and outdoor seating. In the afternoons and evenings, guests can also relax in the Té-Jus Bistro with fresh and healthy snacks such as juices, fruit or a soothing cup of tea and enjoy the peace and quiet. The reception is glad to help you organize excursions e.g. a city tour of the nearby town of Pune. Pune is a city of great historical importance and played a crucial role in the Indian independence movement. It is known for the large Aga Khan Palace, in the garden where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi are kept, the religious centers Bhimashankar and Jyotirlinga Shrine or the Bhaja cave complexes – to name just a few sights.
