ACCOMMODATION

Built in a pleasant blend of tradition and modernity, the cottages are spread across 11 acres of lush tropical gardens bordering the ocean. The typical Kerala palm leaf roofs of the villas are perfectly combined with modern architecture, also thanks to the high quality natural materials such as wood, rattan and bamboo.
Large bathrooms with rain shower, hair dryer, bathrobes and yoga suits provide top comfort. Air conditioning, minibar, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV, music systems with charging station, and coffee / tea making facilities are standard.
The luxurious facilities of the pool villas include small private pools on the terrace with sun loungers. As usual in India, single rooms = double rooms for single use.

AKUND DELUXE VILLAS (14):

The AKUND DELUXE VILLAS (approx. 102 m² total) are embedded in the beautiful garden, near the beach.
They offer a walk-in closet and a pretty basin on the terrace, which gives a wonderful view of the park. There is also an accessible Akund villa for guests with wheelchairs.

MALLIKA POOL VILLAS (10):

The MALLIKA POOL-VILLAS (approx. 95m² total) are additionally equipped with their own small pool and sun terrace.
A wall with lush plants provides the necessary privacy. The villas offer exclusive amenities, such as a Bose music system, walk-in closet and rain shower in the lavish bathroom.

Luxury categories: ZUKRA, SEMANTA, PUNAG

The bookings in the luxury categories ZUKRA, SEMANTA, PUNAG include extras:

• Transfers in the luxury car (BMW, Jaguar); Butler service; various excursions
• Several additional treatments according to the doctor
• Treatments in specially equipped spa villas instead of in the spa center
• Personalized yoga and meditation classes, if desired

ZUKRA POOL VILLAS (3):

(about 12m² total) have about the same exclusive features as the Mallika Villas. They are surrounded by coconut palms and lush greenery amidst the beautiful parks and offer in an even more spacious bathroom also a recessed in the floor bathtub.

SEMANTHA POOL VILLAS (3):

(approx.164m ² total) offer much more space for the ultimate luxury stay. These have also a living area with couch, coffee / tea maker, minibar, TV and Bose sound system of course available. Due to the immense sizeideal for fam,ilies which need an extra bed set up in the villa.

PUNAG POOL VILLAS (2):

(ca.236m ² total) trump in addition to the extraordinary size and the private pool even with its own Jacuzzi. Here also pampered luxury guests get their money’s worth. Sit back, relax … and just enjoy.

THERAPY CENTER

The Ayurveda center of the Carnoustie has been awarded several times as “THE BEST AYURVEDA SPA & WELLNESS RESORT”.
Five experienced doctors with different specialties take care of the guests here. They determine your constitution type and create an individual health and nutrition plan.

In the exquisite, water-surrounded treatment rooms, qualified therapists ensure your well-being. The luxurious spa offers traditional Ayurveda treatments as well as wellness, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, Thai, foot reflexology and classic massages.

When booking in the luxury categories ZUKRA, SEMANTA, PUNAG, the treatments take place in specially equipped spa villas, rather than in the spa center.

AYURVEDA TREATMENTS

Carnoustie offers a variety of spa packages. Most important are the Rejuvenation with the goal of harmonizing body, mind and soul and the Body Purification / Detox. Intense treatments restore imbalanced doshas to their natural balance, releasing toxins from the body. For special needs, there are the treatments for WEIGHT REDUCTION, STRESS-REMOVAL, as well as an intensive anti-aging treatment, in which even more treatments are included.

An ANTI-AGEING THERAPY PACKAGE makes you fit and gives you the necessary strength to face the resulting small and big problems as you grow older. Ayurvedic methods cleanse the tissues of toxins, disease and environmental pollution. As a result, the cells recover, the organs are strengthened and aging slows down. At the Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort you can also get treatment in the field of sports medicine. The program aims for a holistic approach to increase the well-being and performance of an athlete. Special Ayurvedic treatments are combined with Kalari posture exercises (Indian martial arts), Marma treatments, Yoga, Reiki, Pranic Healing and Chakra-Meditation. Prevention of injuries as well as treatments for postoperative rehabilitation, fractures and dislocations, muscle cramps, injuries, tendonitis, sprains, ligament injuries etc. are in the foreground. A well-equipped fitness center and a smart pool used for water therapy offer the best conditions for sports medicine applications. In the in-house diagnostic center different analyzes of BMI, bone density, gait analysis, ECG, etc. can be created, which are evaluated by a professional team of sports physicians and physiotherapists. The treatment modules are rounded off by herbal Ayurvedic medicines to increase vitality, endurance and performance, as well as a diet tailored to individual wishes. The program includes:

The IDA Restaurant offers not only an architecturally spectacular bamboo design, but also excellent food and top service. In consultation with the doctors, an individual meal plan is put together for Ayurveda guests. In the afternoon (16-17 clock) there is free tea, coffee, snacks. In the high season Seafood Restaurant offers fresh seafood, while the Poolside Bar and the 9 ° North Bar serve tasty, non-alcoholic drinks. LEISURE / SPORTS

Enjoy walks in the tropical gardens and the beautiful sandy beach. Lounge sun loungers with umbrellas are available on the beach and by the pool. Relax in the morning and / or evening with yoga sessions. LOCATION

Carnoustie is located in south Indian Kerala, near the village of Mararikulam. Cochin airport is 60 km away (about 1.5-2 hours transfer). Next bigger cities are Alleppey (20km) and Cochin (45km).
